Terms and Conditions for Fredensborg Store Kro

The company Bistro FSK ApS operates Fredensborg Store Kro in Fredensborg in Denmark. The company has CVR no. 38248103, and is registered at the address Aldersrogade 6 G, 2100 Copenhagen Ø. Please send all invoices as .pdf to the email address [email protected]. In what follows, Bistro FSK ApS is simply referred to as Fredensborg Store Kro.

The terms below apply to all bookings (reservations) of rooms and stays at Fredensborg Store Kro. Please note that there are different terms for booking weddings, parties and events. Where deviating terms exist, please refer here.

The section below regarding personal data policy apply as an integral part of the terms for all bookings, but they also apply to all other agreements and relationships with Fredensborg Store Kro.

Terms of payment

All online room bookings are paid in advance in connection with the booking. Payment can be made online by credit or debit card. For other bookings, we may require you to guarantee the payment or pay in advance with a credit card or payment to our account in Nordea 2191-9033654402. The guarantee or advance payment is a condition for maintaining the booking. Deviating terms apply for payment of weddings and parties and events.

Cancellation conditions

The conditions for changing and canceling a room booking are no later than 12.00 the day before arrival. Deviating terms apply for cancellation of weddings and parties and events.

Arrival and departure

The room is available from 15.00 on the day of arrival. The room must be vacated no later than 11.00 on the day of departure. Leaving the room later than 11.00 on the day of departure, is paid for an additional 24-hour stay, unless otherwise agreed.

Liability for damages

In the event of force majeure or other extraordinary circumstances beyond Fredensborg Store Kro's direct control - including fire, water damage, strike/lockout, IT breakdown and other technical system errors - Fredensborg Store Kro is entitled to cancel bookings without notice and liability for compensation .

Fredensborg Store Kro's liability for damages cannot, for whatever reason, exceed the total price of the booking, and any compensation does not include indirect losses, such as loss of profit, transport and travel costs, and costs for alternative accommodation are not covered. Fredensborg Store Kro is also not responsible for loss or theft of valuables and luggage in the room or in the hotel in general.

Forgotten items

Items left or forgotten in the room or hotel are stored for a maximum of 3 months after departure.

Items left behind that Fredensborg Store Kro deems to be of no particular value are disposed of immediately. In this connection, Fredensborg Store Kro cannot be held responsible for the disposal of objects, regardless of what the value may turn out to be. Forwarding of forgotten items can be done against payment of a handling and postage fee. The price depends on the object and destination. Items can only be forwarded against prepayment of fees and postage, and cannot be sent by post. cash on delivery.

Parking

Parking spaces cannot normally be reserved in advance. At Fredensborg Store Kro there are several free parking spaces, which you are always welcome to use in connection with your stay or other visits. Parking is always at the owner's/user's own expense and risk. Fredensborg Store Kro is not responsible for damage to the vehicle for whatever reason, including fire, water and storm damage as well as vandalism and theft of or in the parked vehicle.

Cleaning

The rooms are cleaned between 08.00 and 15.00. If cleaning is prevented or made difficult due to luggage or other objects belonging to the guest, Fredensborg Store Kro is entitled to refrain from cleaning on the day in question. Towels and bed linen are changed daily. For stays of more than 5 days, bed linen is changed as needed.

Ban on smoking and smoke

Fredensborg Store Kro is non-smoking, and smoking is therefore not permitted in the rooms or anywhere else indoors. The ban applies to all forms of smoking regardless of content, including the use of so-called e-cigarettes or anything comparable to this. Failure to comply with the smoking ban will result in you being charged a fee of currently DKK 1,500 for each time a violation takes place. The fee must, among other things, cover that the room needs to be cleaned in order to make it odor free again. If the smoking activates a smoke detector, and this results in an automatic fire alarm being triggered, where the fire service arrives, this can also result in you being charged – in addition to the above fee – the costs, normally approx. DKK 15,000 for dispatching the fire brigade.

Young people under the age of 18

Young people and children under the age of 18 cannot book or stay at Fredensborg Store Kro without being accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

Animals and objects that may not be brought into the hotel

Animals of any kind are not allowed in the hotel. Items that are not suitable for storage in the rooms may not be brought into the hotel. For example bicycles, scooters large quantities of liquids, beer and alcohol. You may also not bring dangerous objects, e.g. weapons, flammable liquids and fireworks. Dogs are welcome in Grande main rooms, this costs a fee and must therefore be informed to the reception

Fredensborg Store Kro carries out all handling of personal data in accordance with applicable legislation.

Fredensborg Store Kro is the data controller

When you use Fredensborg Store Kro, including in connection with booking rooms, parties, conferences or otherwise entering into agreements with Fredensborg Store Kro, Fredensborg Store Kro acts as data controller for personal data in relation to the services you use. 

Fredensborg Store Kro only collects personal data that is relevant for the purpose described below or in the above terms and conditions for the individual service and this personal data policy. It is the individual service that determines both which personal data Fredensborg Store Kro collects and the purpose of the collection.

Fredensborg Store Kro uses the personal data to administer, offer, develop and maintain the services we offer, including for the following purposes:

• Processing of your bookings and purchase of Fredensborg Store Kro's services
• Contact you before, during or after your stay
• Improvement and development of Fredensborg Store Kro's services
• Individualization of our communication with you and marketing towards you
• Analysis of your user behavior 
• Administration of your relationship with Fredensborg Store Kro
• Compliance with legal requirements

When you submit your personal data to Fredensborg Store Kro, you also give your consent for your personal data to be stored and processed by Fredensborg Store Kro in accordance with this personal data policy.

What information does Fredensborg Store Kro collect?

Fredensborg Store Kro collects, among other things, the following personal data:

• Name, address, phone number, e-mail address, date of birth and other general personal data
• Credit card information
• Demographic information
• Purchase history including the use of Fredensborg Store Kro's website and/or other digital services
• Feedback via customer surveys
• Feedback via physical and online-based competitions, including newsletters
• Feedback on social media and other digital platforms
• IP address and browser information
• Information about your company and relevant contact persons

You can, at your own request, choose to provide Fredensborg Store Kro with personal data in addition to the general personal data that you assess may be important, either for security reasons and/or to give Fredensborg Store Kro the opportunity to adapt the service especially for you. If you choose to do this, Fredensborg Store Kro also considers it a consent to be able to register and save this sensitive information on your profile.

• Special food preferences
• Medical and mental condition
• Contact persons in emergency situations

In addition to receiving information from you, Fredensborg Store Kro will in some cases supplement our information with information that we have received from third parties, e.g. a group manager or a business partner (e.g. travel agency, agent or meeting planner). In these cases, it is the responsibility of the third party to inform the guests involved about Fredensborg Store Kro's terms and conditions as well as this personal data policy. Likewise, it is the responsibility of the third party to ensure that the necessary consent is obtained for the registration and processing of any personally sensitive information.

Security when storing personal data

Fredensborg Store Kro has adopted internal rules on information security, which contain instructions and measures that protect your personal data against unauthorized access or knowledge of it.

Fredensborg Store Kro has established procedures for granting access rights to those of our employees who process sensitive personal data and data that reveals information about personal interests and habits. Fredensborg Store Kro controls their actual access through logging and supervision.

To avoid data loss, Fredensborg Store Kro continuously backs up our databases. If a security breach results in a high risk for you of discrimination, ID theft, financial loss, loss of reputation or other significant disadvantage, Fredensborg Store Kro will inform you of the security breach as soon as possible.

Fredensborg Store Kro's security procedures are regularly reviewed and changed based on the latest technological developments.

Sharing and disclosure of personal data

In order to provide the highest level of service, Fredensborg Store Kro shares selected personal data with external suppliers such as agents, analysis agencies, suppliers of parts for your specific event and companies that supply IT solutions to Fredensborg Store Kro, e.g. booking systems and check-in systems. Fredensborg Store Kro also shares and passes on your personal data internally within the group. The purpose of the division is to be able to provide you with the best service within the group. Fredensborg Store Kro may in certain cases also be obliged to pass on your personal data in accordance with legislation or following a decision by a public authority. Deletion of personal data

Fredensborg Store Kro deletes your personal data when Fredensborg Store Kro is no longer required by law to store the information, or when there is no longer a purpose for the processing. Deletion can also take place if you invoke your rights to deletion, cf. below.

Your rights

According to the personal data regulation (GDPR regulations), you have a number of rights.

Right to access

You have the right to gain insight into the personal data that Fredensborg Store Kro processes and stores about you, as well as to receive additional supplementary information in this connection, including to what extent and to whom Fredensborg Store Kro has shared the information. However, access may be limited for reasons of privacy protection of other people, trade secrets and/or intellectual property rights.

Right to rectification

You have the right to have the personal data that Fredensborg Store Kro has registered about you updated and corrected.

Right to erasure

You have the right to have the personal data that Fredensborg Store Kro has registered about you deleted. If you wish to have your personal data deleted, Fredensborg Store Kro deletes all information that Fredensborg Store Kro is not legally required to store.
